Find your first offer
How to decide what to sell using your DMs, comments and a quick pre-order test.
2 min read · Updated October 2026
Golden rule: sell what people already ask you for. You do not need a perfect idea. You need something a few people have already said they want.
Step 1: mine your own audience
- Scroll your DMs and comments for the last 90 days. Write down every question asked more than twice.
- Note which posts got saved or shared the most. Those topics have pull.
- List what you do that others ask how to do (editing, planning, cooking, practising).
- Check what you already give away for free that people thank you for.
If 3 or more people asked the same thing, that is a product.
Step 2: turn it into an offer
[Format] that helps [who] get [result] in [time], without [pain]. Examples: • A preset pack that helps travel photographers get a consistent look in 10 minutes, without learning colour grading. • A 4-week plan that helps busy beginners start strength training at home, without a gym. • A 1:1 call that helps students fix their study plan in 30 minutes.
Step 3: pick the right Vault type
| They ask for… | Offer |
|---|---|
| "How do you edit?" | Editing course or presets (Digital File, Course) |
| "Where do I get that?" | A list of tools, a template or a Secret Unlock with links |
| "Can you check my…?" | Q&A or a call |
| "Can you make me…?" | Personal Request |
| "Can we do this live?" | Group session |
Step 4: test before you build everything
- 1
Draft the page
Title, description, cover, price. Make it as clear as if the product existed.
- 2
Schedule it
Use a scheduled drop with pre-orders. Set a limited number.
- 3
Announce it
Show a preview, a sample or a teaser. Add an Auto-DM for a free sample.
- 4
Read the response
Pre-orders mean demand. Silence means the offer or the message needs work, and you have not built the whole thing yet.
Start with these three
- One free item that gives a real win in 5 minutes.
- One entry-level paid item at ₹99 to ₹299.
- One premium item (call, course or custom request) for your best fans.
