A Digital File item is the simplest product on Sygil: you upload once, fans pay, and they download instantly. There is nothing to fulfil, so it works while you sleep.
What you can sell
- Lightroom presets, LUT packs, Photoshop actions, overlays
- E-books, workout plans, meal plans, study notes, cheat sheets (PDF)
- Templates for Canva, Figma, Notion, Excel or code
- Sample packs, beats, stems and music for lessons (audio)
- Wallpapers, brushes, illustrations and RAW photos (images and archives)
- Behind-the-scenes clips and bonus videos
Upload limits
| File kind | Largest file | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Image | 20 MB | JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF |
| Video | 500 MB | MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, M4V |
| Audio | 200 MB | MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC |
| 100 MB | ||
| Other files | 100 MB | ZIP, RAR, 7Z, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PSD, AI, EPUB, CSV and more |
Upload or paste a link
In the The file section you have two options.
- Upload. Click to upload a file. It is stored for you and only fans who unlock the item can access it. This is the recommended route.
- Paste a link. Use a link from Google Drive, Dropbox or similar. Sygil detects the type from the link. If it cannot, you choose the file type. The link starts with
https://.
Make it sell
- Show what is inside. Use the cover image for a preview collage or a before/after.
- Say how it is delivered: "Instant download, 12 presets, works with free Lightroom Mobile".
- List what is and is not included. This prevents refund requests, because instant items cannot be refunded once unlocked.
- Price a first item between ₹99 and ₹299. Offer a bigger pack at ₹499 to ₹999.
- Limit copies on special editions. "Only 100 copies of Vol. 2" is honest scarcity.
What fans see after paying
The file unlocks immediately and stays in their Activity, Redemptions list for good. They can come back and download it again any time. If you scheduled the item as a pre-order, the file stays locked until the countdown ends.
Can a fan buy the same file twice?
No. File and secret items are one per fan.
Can fans get a refund on a file?
Not once it is unlocked. If a file is materially different from its description, they can contact support and the case is reviewed.
Do I need to deliver anything manually?
No. Files deliver themselves.
