What is Sygil?
Sygil is a link-in-bio storefront for creators. From one page at sygil.app/yourname you can sell courses, digital products, exclusive content and 1:1 calls, accept fan support, Auto-DM your link to Instagram commenters and launch limited drops with pre-orders. Every buyer can follow you, get alerts for your next drop and earn Fan Points they can only spend on your page, so they come back.
How is Sygil different from Stan Store, Superprofile or Gumroad?
Those stores are built around a single sale: a fan buys once and leaves. Sygil is built for repeat buyers. Fans follow you, get notified when you drop something new and earn Fan Points they can only redeem with you. It's also made for India: UPI checkout, payouts to your UPI, ₹0 a month, and payment gateway charges included in our fee.
Who is Marky?
Marky is a friendly bot that lives on your page (only you can see him). He shows you how to market it: where to put your link, Reel and story ideas, Auto-DM funnels, free vault items, limited drops and supporter shoutouts, with captions and scripts you can copy in one tap. He's included free on every page.
How much does Sygil cost?
Nothing to start. Sygil keeps 10% of each sale and you keep 90%. Payment gateway charges and taxes on our fee are included, so there are no setup costs and no surprise deductions.
When and how do I get paid?
Each payment clears 7 days after it's made. Cleared earnings are paid out to your UPI ID, or to PayPal or Wise if you're outside India.
Is Auto-DM safe for my Instagram account?
Yes. It uses Instagram's official API through Instagram Login. We never see your password, you can disconnect any time, and automations only reply to people who comment or message you first. You'll need an Instagram Business or Creator account.
What can I sell?
Digital files and presets, secret links and codes, Q&A, custom requests, 1:1 and group calls, and video courses. You can also accept fan support. Merch is coming soon.
Can I launch something before it's ready?
Yes. Give any vault item or course a release date and it goes on your page right away with a live countdown. Fans can pre-order, and downloads, secrets and course lessons unlock for every buyer the moment the timer ends. Your followers get a coming-soon alert as soon as you announce it. Add a quantity or seat limit to make it a limited edition: you can add more spots later, but never take them away from people who already bought.
Do Fan Points cost me anything?
Sygil gives the points; you give the discount. Fans earn points when they buy from you and can redeem them for a discount (1 FP = ₹1 off) on your vault items and courses. When they do, you're paid on the discounted price, because the discount comes from you, not from Sygil. Points only work on your page, so they reward your repeat buyers instead of sending them elsewhere.
What happens if a fan wants a refund?
If you decline a request or a call doesn't happen, the fan is refunded automatically. Support payments are non-refundable, and instant downloads can't be refunded once unlocked.
Do I need to handle taxes?
You're responsible for tax on your own earnings. Sygil only charges GST on its platform fee. If you're unsure what applies to you, a CA can help.
Can fans outside India buy from me?
Yes. Fans can pay with UPI, Indian debit and credit cards, net banking, and international cards.
