A Personal Request is something you do for the fan personally. It is the most flexible vault type and the right one for anything custom.

Ideas

  • A personal shoutout video or story mention
  • A follow-back and a comment on a fan's post
  • A reply to a specific DM or a critique of their work
  • A custom logo, portrait, thumbnail or edit
  • A personalised workout, travel or study plan
  • A review of someone's portfolio, CV or channel

Set it up

  1. 1

    Choose Personal Request

On the first screen of the new-item form.

  2. 2

    Describe the deliverable

Be exact about format, turnaround and what is included.

  3. 3

Write "What do you need from the fan?"

This is required. It becomes the form fans fill in at checkout. For example "Your Instagram handle and what to say" or "Your photo and the style you like".

  4. 4

    Price and limit

Cap the number of open requests so you can deliver on time, for example 5 a week.

Deliver or decline

When a request arrives, it appears in Vault Requests with the fan's answer to your question.

  • Mark delivered when you are done. Add an optional note for the fan (for example "Posted! Check my story").
  • Decline if you cannot do it. Add a reason. The fan is refunded automatically, including Fan Points.

Do

  • Set a clear turnaround time in the description.
  • Limit open requests to what you can actually do.
  • Ask for everything you need in the "what do you need" field.
  • Reply to fans with a short note when you deliver.

Don't

  • Promise a result you cannot control (followers, jobs, income).
  • List a request you will not deliver on time.
  • Ask for passwords or payment details in the form.
  • Leave requests pending for weeks.
