A Secret Unlock hides a piece of text behind your paywall. After payment, the fan sees it instantly. It can be a link, a code, an invite, a short message or a set of instructions.
What works well
- A private Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp community invite
- An unlisted YouTube or Drive link to a workshop recording
- A discount code for a partner brand
- Gear settings, a recipe, a prompt or a configuration you do not share publicly
- Access details for a software tool you built
Set it up
- 1
Choose Secret Unlock
On the first screen of the new-item form.
- 2
Write the secret
The Secret content field is required. Revealed instantly after purchase. Example:
https://discord.gg/…orSECRET-CODE-2026. - 3
Write a useful description
Fans see this before they pay. Tell them what the secret unlocks, but not the secret itself.
- 4
Price and publish
These are one per fan, like files.
The secret is hidden from everyone until they unlock it.
If the link changes
Edit the item and update the secret text. Fans who already unlocked it see the updated content the next time they open it in their Activity.
Is a secret really hidden?
Yes. It is only shown to fans who have unlocked the item. It does not appear on the public page or in search.
Can I give the same invite to everyone?
Yes. Everyone who buys sees the same secret. If you need unique codes per fan, use a Personal Request and send each one yourself.
