Most creator stores are visit-once: a fan buys and never returns. Sygil gives you the tools to build something different, a place fans come back to. This is the playbook.
The retention ladder
| Rung | Goal | Tool |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Visitor | Gets to your page | Bio link, Reels, Auto-DM |
| 2. Claimer | Takes a free item | Free vault item |
| 3. Follower | Hears about every drop | Follow button and alerts |
| 4. Buyer | Pays once | Low-priced starter item |
| 5. Repeat buyer | Buys again | Fan Points, new drops |
| 6. Supporter | Backs you for love | Support tab and leaderboard |
| 7. Advocate | Tells others | Reviews, shoutouts, early access |
Your job is to remove friction between each step and give a reason for the next one.
Seven plays that keep fans coming back
- 1
Always have a free door
One great free item that never sells out for new followers. It feeds the ladder every day.
- 2
Drop on a rhythm
A monthly mini-drop and a quarterly big drop. Followers learn that checking your page pays off.
- 3
Use Fan Points as a reason
Mention points before every drop. "Check your Fan Points" is a nudge worth sending.
- 4
Give your people early access
Share the link with your community (Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp) an hour before it goes public.
- 5
Recognise your top fans
Monthly supporter shoutouts. Pin reviews. Feature a fan's result with their permission.
- 6
Ask, then act
Run a poll for the next drop. Build what they pick and say it was their idea.
- 7
Close the loop
After each sale, point the buyer to the next logical product (a course after a preset pack, a call after a course).
Measure it
- Followers over time and the conversion rate (followers per page view).
- Repeat buyers: open Analytics and look at fans with balances and average order value.
- FP minted versus burned. If points are minted but never burned, fans are not coming back. Run a drop that uses them.
