X (Twitter) and Threads

Use text-first platforms to build authority, share ideas and drive people to your page.

X and Threads reward clear ideas and a consistent voice. They are good for educators, developers, writers, coaches and anyone who explains things well.

Set up

  • Put sygil.app/yourname as your profile link and in your bio.
  • Write the bio as a promise: who you help and how.
  • Pin a post that explains what you offer and links to your page.

What to post

FormatIdea
Single postOne useful idea or opinion in a few lines.
ThreadA short how-to: 5 to 10 posts ending with your page.
Screenshot postA before and after, a result, a fan review.
QuestionAsk your audience something to learn what they need.
Build in publicShare what you shipped and what you learned.

Many creators put the main idea in the post and the link in the last post of a thread or a reply, so the post itself reads as value, not as an ad. Test what works for you.

If this helped, I put a free checklist for it on my page: sygil.app/yourname

Follow me there and you'll be notified the second I drop something new.

Rhythm

  • 1 to 2 posts a day: ideas, replies, small wins.
  • 1 thread a week: your most useful idea.
  • Reply to bigger accounts in your niche with substance. That is how people find you.

What's the one thing you're stuck on with [topic]?

I'll turn the most common answer into a free guide this week.

Using Threads

  • Treat Threads as a conversation. Ask questions and reply to people.
  • Cross-post your best X ideas, rewritten in a friendlier tone.
  • Use your Instagram audience as your starting point and link to your Sygil page in your bio.

How often should I post?

Once or twice a day is a sustainable target. A short post you finish beats a long thread you abandon.

Do I need a large following to sell?

No. A few hundred engaged people can be enough for a first product if the offer is clear.
