Collaborations let you borrow trust. Another creator's audience already follows someone like you.

Ways to collaborate

FormatHow it works
Collab posts and ReelsPost together so it appears on both profiles.
Shoutout swapsEach creator recommends the other's free item to their audience.
Guest sessionInvite them to a group session or a live Q&A.
Joint dropTwo creators release complementary items on the same day.
Interview or podcastAppear on each other's show.
ChallengeA 7-day challenge with a free item for everyone who joins.

Pick the right partner

  • Similar audience size (within a factor of three is fine).
  • Complementary, not competing, products.
  • A style and values you would be happy to be linked with.
  • A track record of delivering what they promise.
Outreach message
Hey [name], I love your [specific thing]. I'm [you] and I make [thing] for [audience]. I'd love to do a [swap/collab] where we each share a free resource with our audiences. Happy to send a draft. Would that work for you?

Be a good partner

  • Agree dates, deliverables and what each side posts in writing.
  • Disclose any paid relationship.
  • Send your partner their results afterwards.

Run a joint drop

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Pick a date, what each person releases and who posts what. Put it in writing.

  2. 2

    Each creator schedules an item

Use a scheduled drop on your own page so your followers get the alert.

  3. 3

    Cross-promote

Each posts a teaser featuring the other, with each person's own link.

  4. 4

    Launch together

Post at the same time. Reply to comments on both accounts.

  5. 5

    Debrief

Share your results. Decide whether to run it again.

Can two creators share revenue on Sygil?

Each payment goes to the creator whose page it was made on. If you want to split income from a joint product, agree the split between yourselves outside Sygil, or each sells their own item.

How big should my first partner be?

Someone close to your size is easiest to reach and gives you the fairest swap. Aim up gradually.
