Price, seats and cohorts

Choose a price#

A good course price depends on the result it gives, not the number of minutes of video.

Original price#

Add an Original price to show a crossed-out amount beside your price. Use it for a real launch discount: "₹999 now, ₹1,499 after launch week." Raise it when you said you would.

Seats#

Under Seats, choose Unlimited or Limited.

• With Limited, the page shows how many seats are left (for example "Only 8 seats left") and closes enrolment when it is full.
• A limited course is a cohort: a batch of students who start together. It also gives you a believable reason to say "closing soon".
• You can add more seats later, but once the course is live or has students you can never lower the number. Unlimited courses cannot be capped after they are live.

Running batches#

1. Batch 1

   30 seats, scheduled launch, pre-orders open for a week.

2. Sold out

   Post a sold-out screenshot. Tell followers about the next batch.

3. Batch 2

   Publish a new course (or raise seats) with an improved version. Followers are alerted.

Fan Points and discounts#

Students can use their Fan Points (1 FP = ₹1 off) on your courses. You are paid on what they actually pay. If points cover the entire price, you receive nothing for that enrolment, so do not give away points-funded seats unintentionally. See Fan Points for creators.
