Fees and what you earn
Sygil's 10% fee, what it includes, worked examples and how Fan Points affect your earnings.
2 min read · Updated October 2026
There is no monthly fee, setup fee or hidden charge. Sygil takes 10% of each payment and you keep 90%.
What the 10% includes
- Payment gateway (Razorpay) processing charges.
- Any GST payable on Sygil's fee.
- Hosting, Auto-DM, Fan Points, Marky and everything else on your page.
Nothing else is deducted from your earnings. The fee is calculated on what the fan actually pays and rounded to the nearest rupee.

| Fan pays | Sygil fee (10%) | You earn |

With Fan Points
Refunds
Refunded purchases are removed from your earnings. Fan Points that were used are returned to the fan. See Refunds and cancellations.
If fees change
Sygil's Terms promise at least 30 days' notice before a change that increases what you pay. The fee on a payment is the one in force when the payment is made, so changes never apply to payments already made.
How it compares
Gumroad charges 10% plus $0.50 per sale plus card processing. Stan Store charges a monthly subscription. Sygil's 10% has no fixed fee per sale and no monthly cost, which matters most on ₹99 and ₹299 products. See the comparison pages for details, checked October 2026.
Is there a minimum price?
Paid vault items and courses must cost more than ₹0, in whole rupees. Support payments start at ₹1.
Do I pay anything if nobody buys?
No. Sygil costs ₹0 a month. You pay only when you make a sale.
Who pays the Razorpay charges?
They are included in Sygil's 10%. They are not deducted again from you.
