How to sell 1:1 calls and consultations online

Set up bookable calls with prices, time slots, private links and refunds, and promote them so people actually book.

2 min read · Updated October 2026

Short answer: list a call as a product with a duration, a price and a set of times. Fans pick a slot, pay and get a reminder and a private join link. You show up, and if you cannot, the fan is refunded.

Who pays for calls?

  • Learners who want feedback: portfolio, resume, code, channel or plan reviews.
  • Beginners who want a shortcut: a trip plan, a study plan, a diet check.
  • Fans who want time with you.

Set up a call

  1. 1

    Choose 1:1 or group

Group sessions seat 2 to 1,000 people and suit workshops.

  2. 2

    Pick a duration

30 minutes is a good start.

  3. 3

    Pick a platform

Google Meet, Zoom, phone, in person or another link.

  4. 4

    Offer times

Weekly hours that generate slots, or specific dates.

  5. 5

    Set a price

Typically ₹299 to ₹1,999 for 1:1, less for group seats.

  6. 6

    Publish

    Limited slots make people act.

How to price a call

  • Start from the value of the result, not your hourly rate.
  • Offer a shorter, cheaper call as an entry point.
  • Use group sessions for lower prices and larger reach.

Reduce no-shows and refunds

  • Ask a question at booking so you can prepare.
  • Use a minimum notice so you are not booked at the last minute.
  • Use buffer time between calls.
  • Only list times you can attend.

What if I cannot make the call?

Cancel it and the fan is refunded automatically. You can also report that you could not attend within 24 hours after it ends.

Do fans see my meeting link right away?

No. It appears through a Join button 15 minutes before the start.

Can I run a webinar?

Yes. Use a group session with the number of seats you want.
